I know we are all looking for new and easy ways to save money. These are my top money saving hacks that have worked for me. I think they will work for you too!
Sign up for Ebates:
Ebates is free to sign up for and to use. All you have to do is go to the ebates website and find the store you are looking for or add their button to your toolbar and click it before you buy something at a participating store. There are over 2,000 participating stores and you can get anywhere from 1%-20% cash back! As long as you earn more than $5.01 they will send you a check every quarter. If you don’t reach $5.01 one quarter they will wait until you reach that amount and then send you the check the following quarter. You can use this to pay bills, buy gifts, or put into savings! I buy most of my Christmas gifts online so in February I normally get a nice check from Ebates 🙂 You can sign up and learn more by clicking my referral code here !
Sign up for Microsoft Rewards on Bing.com:
Sign up for free on bing.com and use bing to search the web and you will get points for each search/click. You can redeem these points for gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks, etc). This is a quick and easy way to get your Starbucks fix without affecting your budget.
Check out Retailmenot:
Retailmenot compiles coupons for over 50,000 stores. Before buying online or heading to a store check this website to see if you can use any coupons and save some money. The website will tell you how many people tried the coupon and the percentage of times it worked. Click here to check it out.
Sign up for InboxDollars:
If you spend time at home watching Netflix or any TV shows this is an easy way to make some money during commercials or your show. You complete surveys, watch videos, play games and you earn money for each thing you complete. They also have daily challenges that you can complete to earn money. Once you earn $30 they send you a check for that amount. Although you won’t get rich by signing up for InboxDollars, you can earn some spending money. Click here to learn more.
Online Shopping Cart Trick:
If you are trying to buy something online, put the item in your cart and close out of the window. Then wait a day or two and usually company will email you a coupon to come back and purchase it!
TIP: If you are unsure about a purchase wait a few weeks before buying it. If you still feel you need/want it then buy it! Or wait until it is on sale 🙂
Keep All $5 Bills:
Anytime you get a $5 bill (or break a larger bill) put it in a jar. At the end of the year you will have money you can use for an unexpected expense or Christmas gifts!
Save Spare Change:
Put all of your spare change (from your wallet or around your house) in a container. At the end of the year take it to your bank (you can buy a package of coin wrappers at the dollar store!) and deposit it in your account.
What are some other money saving hacks that you use? I would love to hear your ideas!
