About Me

I am SO happy you found my blog!

I am a current MBA student at the University of South Carolina and a Customs and Trade Manager for a $2B company. It’s going to be a hectic two years working full time and going to school, but that’s what planners (and coffee) are for!

I love traveling, reading, volunteering, and the South Carolina Gamecocks (like REALLY love the South Carolina Gamecocks). I am obsessed with personal finance. I’ve read many books, articles, blog posts on the topic. I am always trying to find better and more efficient ways to cut costs and save money. Some have been successful and others have not.

This blog is my journey to financial independence. I want to help people of all ages take control of their finances and face their fears. All you need to do is take that first step. I want to help!

My goal for this blog to help others reach their financial goals and build a community along the way. I want to help people create their budgets, stay accountable, increase their credit scores, and find ways to save money.

We shouldn’t feel limited by our budget or controlled by our finances. We all want to get to the point where we can use our finances to do the things we love and help others. I am not there yet but I plan to be there someday soon!

I would love to eventually start a scholarship fund for high school students going to college.

Check out my blog posts to read about my experiences and recommendations. Topics include budgeting, credit cards, credit scores, loans, scholarships, and more!

Send me a message and tell me a little about yourself. I can’t wait to connect!
